Paramore was formed in Franklin, Tennessee in the year 2004. This band falls under genres such as: pop-punk, emo, pop rock, alternative rock, power pop, and new wave. The bands line up includes; lead vocalist Hayley Williams, lead guitarist Taylor York, and drummer Zac Farro. Members Williams and Farro are founding members of the band with York joining the band in 2007. Past band members include; bassist Jeremy Davis, bassist John Hembree, guitarist Jason Bynum, guitarist Hunter Lamb, and guitarist Josh Farro. The band has released a total of 6 albums; All We Know Is Falling (2005), RIOT! (2007), Brand New Eyes (2009), Paramore (2013), After Laughter (2017), and This Is Why (2023).
Paramore has toured many times throughout the years. Their headling tours include; The Final Riot! Tour (2008), Brand New Eyes World Tour (2009-2012), The Self-Titled Tour (2013-2015), After Laughter Tour (2017-2018), and This Is Why Tour (2022-2023). Their co-headling tours include; Honda Civic Tour (2010) with Tegan and Sara and Monumentour (2014) with Fall Out Boy. They have been the opening act for bands such as; No Doubt - Summer Tour 2009, Green Day - 21st Century Breakdown World Tour 2010, and Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour 2023-2024.
